GrovTec QD Push Button Cup Base Installation Tool

Essential tool for installing GrovTec threaded cup, can be used with a hand wrench or 1/4″ socket drive. Greater ability to control seating depth.

BE SURE FIREARM IS UNLOADED/EMPTY OF ALL ROUNDS/AMMO PRIOR TO INSTALLING SWIVELS AND/OR ACCESSORIES.

After locating and pre-drilling swivel stud mounting holes, use stud installation tool as noted and shown below.. Operator has a couple of different options for use of this tool.

1. Option 1 uses a conventional ¼” Hex drive, screw driver handle or a ¼” hex socket and a small ratchet.

2. Option 2 uses a cordless style drill with at least a ¼” chuck. For both methods, insert installation tool into wrench and line up with hole produced for this base and slowly screw, ratchet, or drill into place. If using an electric drill, use low RPM’s as to not damage the stock.
